Coding since the age of 11, Jean-Baptiste Martinoli has started a number of successful technology firms and holds numerous patents related to physical motion simulation on touch screen displays. Prior to EXO-U, Jean-Baptiste served as Chief Technology Officer at Mioplanet, KanariWorld, and Groupware Unlimited.
Mr. Matthew Cooper has been the Chief Financial Officer of Regis HR Group, Concordia Behavioral Health Care, Simplex Group, Inc., Orbis Insurance Group since November 2013. Mr. Cooper served as Chief Financial Officer of Avyve from November 2012 to November 2013. He served as Chief Executive Officer of RM Education from December 2011 to November 2012. He has over 20 years of progressive financial and operational experience including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and divestitures.
Doug McCollam serves as EXO U's Chief Financial Officer. Doug brings more than 30 years of strong financial leadership through a variety of significant milestones, such as IPOs and acquisitions, as well as development of Caribbean and Latin American markets.
Prior to EXO U, Doug was the Chief Financial Officer of ARISE Technologies Corp and the Chief Financial Officer of Corel Corporation as well as its Principal Accounting Officer. Before Corel, he held positions with NORDX/ CDT, Northern Telecom, and Nortel Networks. Doug is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Honors Finance from Concordia University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
René Marquis serves as EXO U's Vice President, Education. René has over 22 years of experience implementing advanced technologies and securing innovative partnerships and has held several senior management positions in IT and education.
Prior to EXO U, René was Director Information Technology at Commission scolaire de Laval and held senior positions at DMR, division of Fujitsu, Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Burroughs, Inc. René holds a Diploma in Management from McGill University and a Master Degree in Information Technology from HEC Montreal.
Paul Tocatlian brings over 20 years of product and technology experience to EXO U, most recently as Chief Technologist and VP of Engineering at Magnet in Palo Alto, CA. While at Magnet, Paul led the development of three products: Mobile App Builder, Mobile App Server, and Mobile App Manager.
Prior to Magnet, Paul held Vice President of Engineering roles at Payfone, a mobile commerce processing service and at Minerva Networks, a global provider of IPTV solutions. Additionally, he has held numerous technical and services leadership positions at startups and industry giants including AT&T, BEA, and Novell. Paul holds an MSE in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Computer Science from the American University of Paris.
Roberto Torreggiani serves as EXO U's Vice President of Sales. With more than 15 years of experience in education sales, he has a track-record for driving YOY growth at multiple organizations and has personally closed numerous large deals across North America. Roberto is a proven leader who is adept at creating a vision, building powerful sales teams, and bringing the best out in individuals. He is also a perpetual student of the industry, recognizing emerging trends and shaping product development to create a competitive advantage.
Prior to joining EXO U, Roberto has held sales positions at major educational companies such at Pearson and McGraw-Hill, most recently leading sales at Macmillan New Ventures, the growth engine of the company.
Ian Bryan serves as EXO U's Vice President of Marketing and Community Outreach. He joins EXO U with 12 years of experience marketing education technology products and companies at a global scale.
Prior to joining EXO U, through Ian lead marketing and launch campaigns for many of the market's most successful brands, including Promethean, Evernote, Livescribe, Qwizdom, Polyvision, eChalk, Schoolnet, and others. In 2001, he created Sensible City: what became the largest K-12 focused marketing and PR firm in the world, with billings exceeding $2mm and offices in 27 countries. A frequent guest-lecturer at universities and industry conferences, Ian's passion lies in solving complex problems within local education communities, and then scaling those solutions elsewhere.

Jonathan Ahdoot commenced his employment within the Hypertec Group in 1999 as an intern and during the course of his career, has acquired in-depth knowledge of North America hosting and disaster recovery markets. Prior to his current position, he was VP of Sales and Marketing for Hypertec BCDR.
Arthur (Art) Howarth is the Director of Architecture in the office of the CTO for the Video & Collaboration Group (VCG) for Cisco Systems, Inc. Art is forming this newly chartered group, which is responsible for identifying strategic architecture challenges & working across functional entities to deliver business and customer impacting solutions. In addition to this, Art works with Canadian venture and technology communities and top tier universities to develop, mature and deliver next generation technologies to Cisco's customers and partners.
Art has held positions in several different parts of Cisco. Prior to his current position, Art was Director, Corporate Development Technology Group; Principal Engineer, Technology Center; Senior Engineering Manager Technology Center, and Technical Marketing Manager for the Service Provider Line of Business for Dial / ISDN, DSL, Cable, Voice over IP and Remote Branch Solutions. Art has worked on various technologies during his tenure at Cisco, including RFID & Wireless Sensor Networks, Streaming Audio, Video over IP, Voice over IP, Home Networking, dial/ISDN and cable/DSL networking. Before joining Cisco in 1995, Art was the Technical Services Manager, Novell Business Unit at Eicon Technology, based in Montreal. Art holds a Computer Science degree from Concordia University.
Andy Brown currently serves as CEO of Sand Hill East Ventures and Street Scale IT Group, a company providing IT services associated with datacenters and cloud hosting to the financial sector and other regulated industries.
From September 2010 to October 2013, Andy served as Group Chief Technology Officer of UBS. Andy worked as Head of Strategy, Architecture and Optimization at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2008 to 2010. From 2006 to 2008, Andy was the CTO of Infrastructure at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, Andy spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch holding various positions, including Chief Technology Architect, CIO of Direct Markets, and Head of Networks, Market Data and Email.
Recently, Andy was a director at ServiceMesh which sold to CSC in November 2013, Founder of Desktone which sold to VMware also in November 2013, and Advisor to Cyvera which sold to Palo Alto networks in March 2014. Andy holds a BSc. Honors degree in Chemical Physics from University College London.

In the past 20 years, he has sat on more than 25 corporate senior and junior boards as well as advisory committees in Canada, the US and Europe, including Holcim Canada, Orthosoft, Vincor, Medicago, the Dow Chemical Company as well as Air Canada and its affiliates. In the past, he has served as negotiator, mediator in various United Nations environmental and development conventions and is presently the chief negotiator of the Québec Government on the Canada-EU free trade negotiations.
Thierry Karsenti, M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D. holds the Canada Research Chair on Technologies in Education. Thierry Karsenti is also a Full Professor at the University of Montreal. His field is the Integration of Information and Communication Technology into Teacher Training. Professor Karsenti's research center, the CRIFPE, received the Whitworth Award for Best Education Research Center in Canada from the Canadian Education Association.
His technopedagogical accomplishments and innovations in teacher training have been recognized in many countries. He has won the Prix du ministre de l'Éducation and the Prix Hommage awarded by the Government of Quebec, the Prix d'Excellence en Conception Pédagogique Award of Excellence from the Canadian Association of Distance Education, and the Prix PEDAGOGICA-RESCOL for pedagogical innovation in the integration of ICT. He also won the MERLOT prize for his work on ICT and education in Africa. Finally, he is also an Apple Distinguished Educator.

She currently has her own consulting firm where she has provided counsel to prominent brands and companies including Coca Cola, Target, DuPont, Caterpillar, and Ralph Lauren. Becky worked at MGM Resorts International for 3 years as CIO and CTO, Chief Technology Officer at Pepsico for 4 years, and Chief Technology Officer at Wells Fargo for 4 years. Becky holds a Masters degree in Banking from the Pacific Banking School at the University of Washington, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration focused on MIS from Chapman University.
Frank Biden is the President and founder of Cygnus International LLC, a real estate development and consulting firm. Mr. Biden worked in the Clinton Administration as a director of Legislative and Congressional Affairs, and has been involved in the election campaigns of his brother, Joe Biden and nephew, Joseph R. Biden III, as an advisor and unpaid campaign coordinator over many years.

Jim also proudly served his country as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
